Welcome to Metal Cleaning UK's Shotblasting and Painting facility. A much needed service to compliment our Chemical Cleaning division in Bootle Merseyside. 

 

Concentrating on projects requiring a high quality finish, Metal Cleaning UK has over 100 years joint experience working in the surface preparation and coatings industry.  From basic epoxy and Polysiloxane systems to internal glass flake lining to pipework, tanks and vessels. We have recently gained pre qualification to Norsok MCR-501 system 7. Our team of experienced operatives are ready to meet your challenge.  

 

Facility

Pictured above is an internal view of our shotblasting & painting facility.  With over 20000 sq ft (1800sq m ) of painting space and a blast booth measuring 48 ft long  x 20 ft wide x 16 ft high (15m x 6m x 5m), we are confident we can handle most configurations of fabricated pipe spool, tank or vessel.  The unit is heated via oil fired heaters, when required, to maintain optimum ambient conditions during coating application.  We can accommodate single sections weighing up to 10 tonnes and up to 70 ft long. 

 

Quality

Our newest addition to the company, a bespoke database driven management system, handling everything from initial enquiry, job sheet, advice note, purchasing, completed load inspection report, and finally to invoicing.  Customers can be confident of full traceability with every load delivered. Our thanks to  Dennis McDermott for writing the database which took almost three months to complete.
